Use WEPOS 1.1 Licenses on PosReady 2009
(too old to reply)

Hello group,

I pushed the evaluation copy to a customer for about 7 days, due to an
urgent replacement of a machine. When they got their WEPOS 1.1 machine back,
they told me PosReady was better (virtual keyboard was a hit). I also like
the user interfase, extra tools and MUI fix they did.

I still have WEPOS 1.1 licenses, can they be used on the production set for
PosReady 2009 when we get the CD or we need to buy new licenses for it?

Thanks beforehand for your help.

You should check with your distributor. I think these are seperate products
and their license keys are also seperate.

Thanks Sean,

Indeed MS decided to have them as separate products, even thought the core
is the same. So you will need a new license.
