PowerPoint Viewer 2007 for WEPOS

I am having issues with the PowerPoint 2007 viewer running in WEPOS. If I
launch a .pptx file I get the following error message, "The converter failed
to save the file". If I launch a .ppsx file I get the following error, "This
file requires the Compatibility Pack for the 2007 Office system to view its
contents."

Interestingly it does run 2003 ver files OK, the problem is only with 2007
files.

I installed PowerPointViwer2007.exe file version 12.0.4518.1014 and
FileformatConverter.exe file version 12.0.6015.5000

Under Windows XP SP2 I don't have any of these issues, and the files run
perfectly (even without the fileformatconverter pack)

Can anyone shed any light on the matter?

Thanks
Andrew

Hi,

I also met the same problem as above. The pptx file cannot open from powerpoint viewer 2007 and the ppt file does run.

Is there any solution to this?

Thanks
Alice

Hi,

you will need to copy the Windows\system32\t2embed.dll file from a XP Pro
installation to your embedded device.
Then the PowerPoint viewer will be able to load all the files properly.
